Stayed mid-January 2024. Absolutely the best location to enjoy Reykjavik on foot. It's about midway along a pedestrian only street that is lined with shops, restaurants/bars, and amazing live music every night of the week. The area is absolutely lovely. The hotel was very clean, and the room was large. We asked for a quiet room when we booked so ours was not streetside and was quiet. Decent breakfast, no complaints. Reserve your parking when you book and pay them for it when you check in. The parking is inside a courtyard and very tight. I had a Duster and it was for me, stressful parking it. Parking aside, we were out every night strolling and enjoying the immediate area(we're from Ontario so it was actually warmer in Iceland than back home). We loved this hotel and cannot recommend it enough!!

Very comfortable hotel for the 3-star hotel. I stayed in this hotel in 2022 and 2023 in different rooms. Both times the rooms were good. Good location. The hotel is located on the main street, so there are a lot of shops, bars, and restaurants near the hotel. Breakfast is good for the range of the hotel, but sometimes staff are not so quick in adding eaten out positions. So you need to spend more time at breakfast and wait, if the meal you wanted is empty. Overall, the hotel is a very good selection for price/service. Recommended.

I really enjoyed this hotel and the breakfast was fantastic. Rooms very nice with a lovely bathroom and fridge toaster kettle hob should you wish to cater for yourself. Great location right in the middle of the shopping centre of Reykjavik. The pictures are from a tour of Iceland.

Decent hotel. Rooms are definitely a little older and well used, but that didn’t bother us. The location is great, however, with a car it can be a pain. We were told there was no room to park and had to find street parking (which is free in Reykjavik from 9pm-9am, so not a huge issue) Breakfast was included and we enjoyed it! The streets were definitely noisy in the evening but our room was far enough that it didn’t bother us too much. Overall we were happy with the stay
