Ramada Plaza Resort & Suites by Wyndham Orlando Intl Drive

Had a 2 week stay here and it was absolutely amazing. Felt very comfortable and our room view was beautiful… Very accessible to everything. The only downside was rude woman at the front desk, I do think it’s important to have polite and patient people working at the front desk especially cause they are the first you encounter. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend!

I wanted to complain about the experience we had at Ramada. We used points earned with a credit card to pay for our stay, and I feel that maybe this is the reason why we were treated as second class guests. I’m requesting a full refund of the points used. We arrived Saturday July 29th and left on Thursday August 3rd, six days we were there and never received room service. We had bags and bags of garbage and they were never taken out, not even when I requested it TWICE (it should’ve been done at least once without us even request it, since as per policy it is done on the third day) We actually had to go downstairs in more than one occasion to request for toilet paper and towels. Now that is the not worst part, I could understand that it could be an oversight, things happen, maybe they lost the log of the rooms that needed service, maybe the person in charged called out, I can understand that. What I don’t understand is that, even after I reported that I had found a dirty underwear in between the “clean” blankets and spare pillow in the closet, I still felt no one cared. When I first reported to the guy at the front desk, he gave me a look like “I don’t really care, I’m here just for a paycheck”, not even an “I’m sorry”, he just gave me a card and told me to send an email to the address in the card. Then when I reported it again in the morning, this time I received a better answer from this lady that was supposed to be a manager, she did apologize but again, her words did nothing for the situation, that underwear stayed with us up until the last minute of our stay. When I brought it up to another employee at the front desk, her excuse was that nobody has taken out the garbage because of my “special request” of changing sheets and pillows. (What!!??) I don’t understand, what does changing sheets have to do with taking the garbage out? There are things that are acceptable, and understandable like: “we run out eggs for breakfast”, and we can live with it, but what we experienced is completely unacceptable, having a dirty underwear from a previous guest in a pillow I used for my baby girl, reporting it and employees acting as if it is not a big deal, it is just madness.
