The staff cannot do enough for you and are so friendly. It’s my first time visiting but will definitely not be the last. The staff at the pool even remembered my name from speaking to them a few days prior. The rooms are very spacious and the bed is very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel for a luxury get-away.

Magical! This is, hands down, one of the best hotels we have ever been to. The reason behind it: the staff! We have never seen staff that is as happy and delighted to help, see you, chat and accommodate your needs in any possible way. Truly, mesmerizing. The rooms are clean, very well-equipped and spacious. The food is yummi! The La Tratorria, Starfish and Breakfast buffet are amazing places to eat and again, chat with the super nice staff. We are sure this is our choice again!

Overall the week at The Royal Hideaway Suites was pretty good (the weather was wonderful). The hotel is clean and modern, well located in La Caleta for shops and restaurants, staff are friendly and the hotel ticks most of the boxes. Unfortunately, it’s the little things that stop the hotel getting 5*, Positives (room 1221) Clean, modern, good location Spacious 2 bedroom suite with modern kitchen, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms Outside terrace large with lovely heated pool Food high quality and not overpriced. Adult only buffet far superior to the Suites buffet (Olivia), although they do try and discourage you from using it - we ate there every day. Rooms cleaned well each day Roof top bar very good with lovely cocktails (team very good). Room service ordered online and good quality. Negatives Booked a room for 3 adults yet they only provided 2 sun loungers (had to ask more then once to get a 3rd) Iron and ironing board belong in student accommodation, very poor condition, steam didn’t work, board tiny and old 2nd bedroom (see pic) had location for tv but no tv installed, frustrating for our son who likes to watch tv in bed. TVs are quite old, no smart ability so cannot watch Netflix, Prime etc. Plumbing - had to switch on all taps to receive hot water for the shower (we were offered to move rooms but the room wasn’t as nice a location so we declined). They couldn’t provide transfer from airport as less than 24 hours notice (surely they should ask, knowing when we were arriving due to digital check-in) Enquired to concierge about a late checkout, they said they would let me know by 7pm, but never did and cleaners arrived promptly at 12pm (checkout time) Overall, the suites are very good and should score 5 stars but it’s the little things that did frustrate, especially comparing to other hotels we have stayed in the area.
