We liked it here! Will def stay here again! The proximity to everything u wl need- quaint Japanese & Korean restos, bars, a great ramen place, eat all u can Wagyu Place ( Yakiniku Gyumari located inside a corner bldg nearby) and just 5mins away fr Mega Don Quijote ( shopping! ) and abt 10mins fr the Shibuya Crossing , Hatchiko, Station etc. Creston Hotel seems like a vintage hotel, with no card type keys. The lobby is quiet with leather couches, the room interiors will remind u of a European hotel. We booked 2 connecting rooms bec we were a family of 4 - rooms 408 & 410 - huge enough space for our big luggage. The hotel staff were quiet & courteous. One thing i noticed in the 3hotels we stayed in this specific Japan trip : Granbell Hotel Shibuya , Liber Hotel at Universal Studios Osaka : the rooms do not provide body cream or hand lotion. Dunno why this is so. So make sure u bring your own lotion. But other toiletries are provided for inside the toilet & bath. Good thing Creston Hotel gave away lotion sachets as freebies at the hotel lobby for guests of the hotel.. Hotel rate: I paid ¥96,400 for 2nites at Creston. Good price for 2rooms!

The vibe of the 1990s is going strong in this hotel! 😉 It‘s old, but it‘s clean and it‘s affordable for being quite close to Shibuya Station. Also the rooms are pretty quiet and the Wifi is excellent. Staff was superfriendly and helpful. Regarding breakfast you have the choice between Western and Japanese style breakfast, but both options won’t serve you big portions. Bigger European and American persons will still be hungry.
