Currently staying at Sonder IDA. The only negative is that I am in Room 301 and it faces the street. It’s a busy road and traffic begins at 6am, it’s like the window is open and hear everything so am lacking sleep. Why wouldn’t you put double glazing? Try to ask to move before unpacking if you get this room or 401. I am here for a week and thought it would be ok but it’s too noisy. Apart from the street noise the kitchen is good and the location. I like the mobile key!

The unit could use a deep clean (showers, walls, baseboard, sweeping/vacuum) but overall surface level clean. Clean linens, and conformable bed. This location is next to several nightclubs, and it is very noisy between 10pm-3am.

Sonders are awesome. This one is a short 15 minute walk to Chase Field. There's plenty of bars and dining options within a block or 2. These are all storage containers turned into studio apartments that have everything you need. Don't judge a book by its cover, it's really nice inside.

This might've been my first time booking with Sonder, but it will not be my last. Definitely not perfect, but the accommodations for the price are a bang for my buck. Here's the breakdown: This isn't a hotel, at least not to my standards. It resembles an airbnb but for about $90 a night. You have a washer, dryer, roku with accounts such as crunchyroll, hulu, disney plus, etc, sink, stove, microwave, closets, fridge/freezer, couch, table/chairs and the restroom mirror even has a warm setting. You are practically in an apartment that's fully stocked. Yes, they are surrounded by I think 4 bars, but the noise isn't that bad. They also provide a white noise machine and earplugs if needed. You can also request items on the app if needed. Where does it fall short? 1. The app says I can schedule a cleaning, but it wasn't available at my location. For someone staying there a week, it would've been a nice option. 2. The microwave was FILTHY. It was CAKED with stuff and when I used it, it smelled strongly like burnt popcorn. 3. No official parking, but there is a dirt lot right behind Sonder that's free and was watched by the cobra (bar) security. In that week, nothing happened to my vehicle and I never saw the lot get full. 4. Some stuff is stained, such as some towels and the carpet in the living room, but it wasn't a big deal for me. 5. I asked for new roku batteries and they were supposed to arrive that night or the next morning. No updates the next day, so I decided to text them and they said once again, tomorrow (2 days after the original request). I texted them again on the 3rd day and they said someone had already changed the batteries. I got no notice of this and while I don't care that they went into the room without telling me, someone else might. Overall, it has its pros and cons, but the pros outweigh the cons. The convenience of being able to cook, store and warm up food is really nice, bed was super comfy, place was cozy and spacious and I never ran out of things to watch. Not to mention it had everything I could've needed (like a can opener) and there's a bunch of bars around so you're surrounded by food, even past 12 am.
