Went here for accommodation for a concert. Spent 4 nights. The hotel is situated 5 minutes walk to central station (Hauptbahnn Hof), perfect to get to events. 20 minutes to airport at €3.10. Taxi was €38! Airport train was S1 to Ohlsdorf which then goes to central. Rooms very basic, no air con and TV had 2 working channels (German). WiFi was 7Mbps, so good enough to stream when back to hotel. Bed was uncomfortable, very thin cover. No tea or coffee facilities in bedroom, and no hot water around 9am on mornings (just time I used it). I ended up using it cold, luckily it was warm weather. Overall, 3 star rating would be fair. It was clean, but lack of services let it down. Walls very thin, so can hear others if they are loud. Staff friendly. Cold drinks available at reception at €3. Downside is that there is no disabled access or lifts to rooms.

Gorgeous small hotel for the prices!! Breakfast included and it was wonderful! Though we were supposed to check in later, we happened to arrive early and within minutes the room was made available for us! Great customer service! Rafi was wonderful to give us the directions and the places to visit. Went out of the way to accommodate us as a family as we liked the place same decided to come back once again the week later. Though it was full, we told them to accommodate us as we loved the place!! Pretty close to the train station and other attractions too. Walk across the bridge and you'll get to many other attractions!! Great place at a bargain price!!

Bait and switch rip-off. I booked a triple room the Priceline for $101.00. I specified 3 people. I paid in advance. It was nonrefundable. When we arrived the hotel clerk said the triple room had been reserved for a maximum of two people. He charged me another 50 euros before I could get the key. We had to schlep our bags up two flights. The 3 of us had 2 towels and the night clerk was very rude when he brought us another towel. I get the impression this hotel has cheated people before.
