Classic old world beauty. Absolutely gorgeous. Attention to detail from the architecture, to the service, to the fresh flowers that graced the various floors. Panoramic vistas on every level. An amazing spa, indoor/outdoor pool. They also house an art gallery in the lower level. The breakfast was spectacular. The service was the best I have ever experienced. Courteous and attentive. They offered us complimentary upgrades on our stay. High ceiling rooms with updated bathrooms along with radiant heated floors. Car service to and from the hotel. We visited in the off season and enjoyed the summer experience. They do have their own ski lifts and ski school. They also have an ice skating rink, kids playground, kids club and various sporting activities. There was a bicycle tour around the lake offered the morning we left along with pilates and other fitness classes. I was just stopping by for one night on my way to a business meeting but would definitely bring my family here any time of year.

Very disappointing conciergerie. We expressly called in advance to know whether we could come for a drink although not staying at the hotel. The reception said that it was possible to have a drink but not to book a table (first come first serve basis). When we arrived, we were not allowed to enter the bar because we were not staying at the hotel… a five stars hotel cannot afford such a poor level of service and conciergerie.

Suvretta House - Lobby Restaurant *Delayed Service: Yesterday, I waited over 20 minutes just to get a waiter's attention for a menu, a significant delay for a 5-star hotel. *Poor Table Management: Today, a waiter abruptly placed a 'reserved' sign on my table after I had been seated for 45 minutes, waiting for a guest. The encounter felt disrespectful and left me feeling demeaned. *Conclusion: Following this experience, I felt compelled to leave immediately and had lunch in another place the service was incredible and the staff very welcoming. Probably a good idea to check on local competition and how service can be improved. These incidents suggest a need for improved staff training and management at Suvretta House. My stay here has been the best experience I’ve ever had with a hotel, resort, air bnb, etc. every employee is extremely professional and helpful. I was given a tour upon checking in, the owners introduced themselves to me, I scheduled a pick up from the train station without any issues, and the food is outstanding. I could go on and on about how amazing the experience has been. I biggest thing that impressed me and stood out was the attention to detail. Everything was perfect, from house keeping to making a dinner reservation. Just amazing!
