Stay at any other hotel in old town or nearby if you want a good location hotel. This hotel has far too many issues. Biggest issues are the beds, which are the hardest I've ever slept on. You will wake up with a sore back, neck, and probably a headache. Standing on the mattress doesn't even make a dent in it. We booked a double bed and were given two singles instead, they stated that the double was only available if we took a different room that would be too small. Room is so loud as it faces one of two streets, both are busy and one has loud bars close by. people talking outside on street or any other room is just as loud inside. The shower 3/4 days we were there only had cold water even on max temperature. Security is a BIG problem. if someone climbed onto the balcony they can VERY easily open the door by lifting the blinds and unlocking it. There is no safety deposit box. no safety latch on the front door. if you open the blinds anyone on the street can see in, you need to choose if you want security or natural light in your room. There is no servicing of rooms - you need to bring hand soap and toilet paper or you will run out. There is no staff to check you in. you need to call someone on whatsapp to check you in. This place is cheap but you're better off in a hostel.

The location is really the best part about this hotel as it is very close to all the major attractions in Old Town Ipoh. The decor is also very unique and matches the vibe of the city. However, the room itself did not make for a good stay. The beds are as hard as the floor and I woke up each day with a very sore back and shoulders. There is also no security latch on the door and the door to the outside is very easy to unlock from the outside should someone try to. The noise from the road outside also makes it difficult to sleep, almost as if you were standing on the road itself. I'd recommend this hotel if you're a heavy sleeper who doesn't mind hard beds, otherwise, please be aware.

Big mistake to book here. 1, No Wi-Fi 2. Got TV but cannot see due to no signals. Are we staying in the jungle 3. No bottle water 4. Cobwebs in the toilet 5. Green mouldy stain at toilet 6. No heater for shower 7. No lift ….so carry your own big bags up I choose to pay RM170.00 for the best room with balcony and got this kind of room. The artwork is good but without right management, might as well close this hotel

Everything about this hotel is nice! The decor, the customer service, it is a nice hotel for a short stay. Located at the very heart of Old Town Ipoh. There are cafes and other attractions nearby. Everything is a walking distance. However, do note that there is no elevator here and you might need to walk up the stairs to the third floor room. No WiFi available on the room ,
