Walking into the Liberty lobby on a Thursday evening is it's own vibe. I really enjoyed our little stay from head to toe. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location was close to all we needed, walkable to all sorts of Boston's vibrant areas. I loved the view of the Charles and the style of the hotel is on point. Really great sleep, would highly recommend.

Had a wonderful stay at the Liberty. The location was perfect, short walk to any amenities you could need & all of the incredible restaurants/ shops in beautiful beacon hill. We were greeted with champagne at the front desk upon arrival which was unexpected & appreciated. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional service from Andrew at the front desk. He really went out of his way to make us feel welcome & comfortable. If you’re looking for a view, definitely go for the upper floors. We had great views of the river, the city & the hotel itself. Only other input I could provide is that it would be awesome to have a coffee station in the room! I love fresh coffee in the morning and being on the higher floor it’s inconvenient to leave the room to grab coffee in the lobby.

A group of four travelled to the Liberty Hotel on Sunday 12/17 after reading about the lobby Christmas decorations. Previously I have had a comfortable and enjoyable overnight stay and dining experience at the Liberty. This experience was anything but enjoyable. The attitude and treatment by table server was unacceptable we were told “if you are not ordering food you will have to go to the bar and get your own drinks”. The bartender was disinterested and rude. It was necessary to repeat the drink order 3 times before they were delivered. For context we ordered 3 espresso martinis with Baileys and 1 espresso martini No Baileys. The drinks were undrinkable. This was after paying over 90.00 including the tip. It was very disappointing to say the least to travel into the city for this experience. This problem needs to be addressed. Additionally there seemed to be no one in a supervisory capacity to speak to about this experience. 90.00 dollars at the bar, 20.00 valet fee and we never finished our drinks.

I had a pleasant stay at the Liberty and overall the hotel was very good. The room was large and fairly modern (apart from the TV) and I liked the aesthetic of the room as well as the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and they catered to my request for firm mattress and foam pillows. The dinner at Clink was pretty decent and overall the service throughout the hotel was great, staff and valet were very helpful. My main issue is that the soundproofing on the room is quite poor. Although I didn't have any issues with club noise since my stay was from Sunday, I could very clearly hear people in the adjoining room chatting and showering. As well as people in the hallways. This was a bit annoying to try and sleep through. There was also some missing amenities such as lack of slippers, though it can probably be requested if you're bothered. The gym is also quite small and poorly ventilated, so not really practical for a workout.

I had a $700 Liberty Hotel gift card and tried to use it for dinner at Liberty's Clink restaurant, which the hotel confirmed would be honored. I spent $550 on a family dinner however Clink did not honor the gift card saying they could not locate the card in their system. The card is in a Clink sleeve and has not been used. They promised a call back the next day. No call. I called three more times to get a manager to get to the bottom of the issue, no reply to any messages. I will work with Mass AG to resolve the financial issue, but the service has been unfathomably bad especially considering the price of the dinner. Great meal. Great location. Great staff. Clearly not engaged management staff. So utterly disappointed and fuming at the level of disrespect and ambivalent attitude towards a customer.
