I came for the Sunday brunch. The price is actually pretty good for a buffet. The food is mediocre but our server was spectacular so it made up for it. If they screw something up they do discount or make up for it. So at least that counts. The biggest complaints would be that the hashbrowns are terrible. Soggy and taste like sand. And some of the fruit tastes like onions because they cut it on boards used for vegetables. It should always be kept separate. That really ruined the fruit experience for me. But I would be back. Hopefully next time it will not be better.

This was my first visit to Winnipeg, and I had a great stay at this location! Jodi was outstanding and provided exceptional customer service. She was attentive and went out of her way to upgrade my room at no additional cost. My beautiful suite on the 2nd floor was amazing! Spacious, spotless, great decor, and crisp bed linens. Thank you, Jodi! •☆• *and a huge thank you to the hotel/airport shuttle driver. Extremely courteous and helpful!

Honestly a good value for your money. Good rooms, very clean and modern. Restaurant has a great breakfast, perfectly cooked, for a really nice price! Service is friendly and helpful. Hallways are dated, but I guess that will be the next upgrade. Great stay and would recommend.

I was in the Viscount court lobby, waiting to check in. In front of me was an indigenous family with children. They paid for the room and then the front desk informed them that there was no pool available. They asked for a refund so they could go stay at a hotel where there was a pool for their children. And they said no way they wouldn’t refund their money. The people behind the desk became rude and short with them .I could not believe how rude the people atthe front desk people are at that hotel The way they treated them I walked out of the hotel and didn’t stay there and never will. Shame on the Viscount court for the racism towards indigenous people. They took these peoples money and I’m sure they didn’t even stay there because the way they were treated even by the manager , I will never stay there because of the racist ordeal that I witnessed it made me sick to my stomach to have to witness these white people be racist towards indigenous people shame on them . I’m making this review because I couldn’t get this incident out of my head. It bothered me all night long that there are people that treat other people like this because they’re indigenous. I’m posting this also to warn other minority groups to be careful and weary of the Viscount. I would call them racist, white trash. in my eyes, they stole their money.

This hotel although old is in a great location and has slowly been renovating the rooms. Our room was nicely done (other than a bit dated washroom) so that was a nice thing to see upon walking in. A few issues though the bed was extremely uncomfortable and the frame for the bed was an old cheap metal frame that moved extremely easily and was super squeaky. We also were quite disappointed that the pool was closed and nothing was said to us when we booked through the hotel for this stay. For the price of the room I was expecting a much better bed situation and would have been nice to be told about the pool upon booking.
