Kandla Airport (IATA: IXY, ICAO: VAKE), also known as Gandhidham Airport, is located north of Kandla and Gandhipuram in Gujarat’s Kutch district. The airport was constructed in 1950, while Indian Airlines started passenger operations in 1960. Spread over 268.2 acres of area, the airport has a terminal building capable of handling 100 passengers at a time.

The airport is managed by the Airports Authority of India. There are flights to and from Goa, Surat, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, etc., to Kandla. International routes from Kandla can be accessed via connecting flights from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad. Otherwise, the other nearest airport to Kandla is Bhuj Airport.
