We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful location. We kindly received an upgrade to a bigger room with a view on the Matterhorn. Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good. The spa and sauna area was very nice and relaxing. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely and gladly come back.

Great location and comfortable small rooms. Breakfast buffet was great and lots of choices. Staff was friendly but won't go the extra mile for sure as some reviews already pointed out. I went for a ski holiday over Christmas with my son. We live in Canada so a long journey. I made it clear at reservation that we needed two separate beds and not a queen size because I'm travelling with my adult son. Confirmed three times ahead of our arrival only to find a room with a queen bed. A bit of a hassle but not such a big deal, I just let the front staff know and they came by to change it and bring bedding. My biggest disappointment though was how badly the beautiful wellness area was manged or better not managed. I grew up in Switzerland and very familiar with the sauna culture. Having a SPA was one main factor why I chose this hotel. Unfortunately during my 7 night stay, there were two families with about 7 children that occupied the spa 5 evenings. The kids were in the sauna with their phones and it was more a playground than sauna. Including the quiet room where they were watching movies on their phones. All of them did not go by the standard sauna rules and signs at the door to the wellness area like no kids, no noise etc. Even though I mentioned this to the reception staff, nothing was done. So if you choose this hotel because of the wellness area and expect a swiss run SPA, don't go. Therefore the 3 stars.

Hotel location was great - 5 minutes walk from main train station and a bus stop literally at the entrance of the hotel. Staff was extremely helpful as they will arrange free shuttle when you are checking in/out so no need to lug your luggages! Room was clean, fully renovated with great furnishings and great amenities such as sauna and fitness room. Good breakfast spread and even coffee and cake from 1700 - 1800 daily. Great view of Matterhorn from room! Quiet yet convenient hotel. Definitely recommend for visitors to Zermatt

So the plus. Beautiful hotel. Shower was heaven. Room nice and well thought out. Now the bad and there is a lot to say. The hotel staff is about as rude and unprofessional as we ever experienced. It’s like they have been trained to always say no. Often before they even understand the request. The place exists in a normalized deviation in that they are in a service business but view the patrons as an infestation and inconvenience. It is also apparent that the hotel staff from the bottom up share this idea so it must be a training and organization issue. It would be wise for the owners of this hotel to sell it as if this is their idea of hospitality they are far away from the mark. Selling now would make you money and make everyone in the future happier. Worst hotel staff experience ever that soured the potential lovely possibilities. Highly recommend anyone not book here. Trust me the experience you will have will not align with even the lowest expectations of respect and mutuality necessary for everyone to enjoy. STAY AWAY. We certainly plan on heeding our own advice in the future.

A very good hotel and great location . However the same needs to be backed up good customer service . Poor customer experience in form of information on pick up and explanation of facilities. Service manager wrongly mentioned name on service booking and on informing about the same was very rude . Just a matter of customer service which needs backing of this beautiful place . Person at the counter was impolite and discriminating against the particular customers- we . May be this is our perception, however needs to be improved upon .
