This was a nice place. I stayed only one night, but the bathroom was lovely. The shower is spacious and super hot. I took 2 showers that night! The breakfast buffet was very basic, and overpriced for the food quality, in my opinion. The room was clean, cold, and the bed was very comfortable. The balcony is nice, and while I did not have a direct beach view, I could still see the water. I did not have any type of "service" to comment on, which is why I rated that 3 stars. The only downside to this room was the distasteful piece of "art" that hung on the wall.

My experience was great. Special shout out to the front desk and beach staff they were super kind and helpful. Everyone I interacted with was great. Rooms were very nice and clean too. We had a great view of the beach as well.

Great historic place, i know they are renovating, but I really like the current decor and 50s look/ tables/ lamps etc. View was great and location fantastic. Beach service was good too. They set your chair and umbrella for you. Drinks are very costly though, and they charge an extra 21% if you use credit card- was not told until after. The free bike only goes until 7pm, but they're citi bikes around close. Valet is 55 a night or so. They also charge an extra $20 a night for resort fee. Overall really nice and would come back- just not sure about the hidden fees and charges until it's too late.

I can’t say enough positive things about the Confidante! I stayed in a king bed oceanfront room and loved it. I had an issue with my room upon check in and it was rectified immediately, a supervisor was at my door within 5 minutes of calling. They’re undergoing renovations but sent numerous messages before my stay to ensure I knew what to expect. The beach service was great, room service great, food really good, communication via text was outstanding for just about any and everything. They even told me that they didn’t clean my room (I had a do not disturb sign on the door) but asked to let me them a better time to come back via text… I don’t have any complaints at all. I loved my stay here!

Over all I have to give them 5 stars, I’m on my last night of my stay and I don’t want to leave. Don’t really like the area but that is really personal preference. I didn’t realize how busy the street would be and that’s on me for not doing my research. The staff I’ve encountered have all been super friendly and welcoming. Very helpful and attentive. Booked this trip for my husbands birthday before we leave for our cruise and I absolutely would love to come back and stay longer than two days! First trip to Miami has been a great success due to the staff here. The beach access is great and I loved that they provided towels and chairs and umbrellas!!
