Rooms are updated a little. The mattress is firm and feels like laying on plywood. It sucks when owners buy what they want versus getting what is suggested my corporate. I am a diamond member and stay at Best Western very often. The cheapest one has a bed better than this. The employees were very friendly. The breakfast is not worth it. $18 for continental breakfast. I ordered an omelet took one bite and spit it back out. Absolutely disgusting. They took a continental breakfast area and turned into a restaurant as well. They're using the same hot plate to make an omelet in the back as the rest of the continental breakfast. I think it was one egg omelette. For $270 a night the breakfast should be included. Self parking was $36 which might be the going right on South Beach. I am not sure.

So enjoyed the stay. The mattress was firm however last night century they would have been considered Soft. The service was great and the breakfast buffet was also!!! The 24 hour CVS came in handy. Enjoy the walking/bike trail rather than the sidewalk

This was, bar none, the worst hotel stay I’ve experienced. We arrived early and the hotel stored our luggage while we explored the city. That was the best part of our stay. We got back to the hotel at about 3:30 pm but our rooms weren’t ready yet. We were told we would receive a call when they were ready. An hour later we checked with the desk again to find our room had been ready for a while but no one bothered to let us know even though we were sitting 10 feet from the desk and had asked about the rooms several times. Our room was clean-ish but very dated. The hotel, as a whole, looked nothing like the pictures online. When we checked in the carpet was dirty and the sink had water around it. The beds were terrible! It was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. We didn’t sleep at all between the kids running up and down the halls pounding on doors at 1am, the awful beds, and the construction noise outside the hotel that went on past midnight. The staff were pretty unfriendly. When we had questions they either answered “I don’t know” or they acted irritated that we bothered them. We went to check out the pool and had to go through what amounted to a back alley to get to it. It was pretty sketchy. The pool was ok. The only good thing was the location. The beach was right behind the hotel. There are plenty of great hotels in Mid Beach Miami to choose from and next time I’m here I’ll choose a different one. One night was one night too many.

We checked out on January 18, 2024, and our stay there was a nightmare. We encountered 5 different receptionists, and only 1 of them was professional, the rest seemed to hate their job. Upon check in, we noticed one out of two bathroom lightbulbs was broken. Then, our balcony door lock was broken, followed by our bathtub stopper not working. The room thermostat fan is locked to auto, so during the night, we would often hear the AC fans turning on and off. Even after setting the AC to 65 degrees, our room temperature only stayed around 67-69 degrees at night. The hotel has 2 washers and 2 dryers in the laundry room, and only 1 washer is working, the rest are broken. We were forced to hang dry our clothes. There was an unauthorized temporary charge of $8 for using the washer. What's even worse, the hotel next to it is undergoing construction, so we were woken up at 8 AM from the drilling noises. Furthermore, on our last night there, someone slipped a menu under our door at night and our key cards got disabled daily, raising questions about the safety of this hotel. Lastly, the resort fee should also include 2 water bottles per day at the beach, but when we went to the beach, they didn't provides water. Every day, they started to collect the beach chairs and towels at 4 PM, forcing us to leave the beach earlier than we wanted. We asked 3 different times if we could request a late check out and were told to ask on the day of our check out. I went to ask at 9 AM on our check out day and was told they couldn’t accommodate even a 30-minute late check-out. However, while I was there, I saw 2 continuous guests getting the keys to their room before 9:30 AM. The only good thing about this hotel for us was CVS right across from it.

Okay for starters the staff was nice at first, then lied about the vending machine being free, expired snacks, disgusting room, parking and pool. The room wasn’t what I booked, upon arrival after flight it was about 2am in the morning and certainly just wanted to sleep so I didn’t even complain after going up to my room, I just sucked it up. Then I got itchy, prickly in the bed and could find a reason maybe allergy to their cleaner or fleas. I had red bumps on my arms and chest and made sure I covered up and shook out sheets just in case. The room ended up being a wheel chair accessible room so upon taking a shower the bathroom flooded completely with water no matter what we did, the floor ended up with a more than a puddle. No curtain to control the water. I’ll Post pictures. The water didn’t get hot or warm u til the second day of stay when I called up property maintenance And even when he came up He didn’t address the issue with water everywhere, and barely warm water. The pool was nasty, the beach is off limits when it gets dark so I wanted to swim but I wasn’t okay swimming in filth. The room also had a tv that was so fuzzy I felt like I was in the twilight zone. The door had a huge gap so the hallway light lit up the room. I had to use towels to block the gaps. I was also lied to about parking on site and had to keep paying for parking for three days, mind you max time was 3 hours so I had to keep a timer on to keep paying up. The location was cool but I won’t go back. There are too many other hotels on the strip around Miami to deal with the lies, filth and itching at this one
