Due to the popularity of Waves Water Park and to maintain the safety of all guests, we have developed and are enforcing a set of rules to guide the safe use of the water park. These rules are intended to reasonably control the risks associated with using Waves Water Park while also facilitating the enjoyment of the pool experience.
We will now have a limited number of registered guestrooms with access to the pool for 1-hour timeslots to ensure we do not exceed the water park’s capacity, depending on the hotel’s occupancy. This must be booked at the time of check-in and applies only to peak hours.

Room was clean and well set up. Location was convenient and near lots of food joints. Pool did need to be booked for 1hour slots after 6 pm on Friday and Saturday’s. Honestly, that may have been a good thing as it controls the amount of people in there a bit. The staff was helpful in being able to accommodate us and our friends in the same area, even though it was challenging. Things I would change: the way they make their kings beds, for some reason the bar sheet doesn’t want to stay on and you end up sleeping on the mattress protector. The main pool with the slides was quite chilly. The toddler pool was perfect though. Overall a very good stay—wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Great stays. We always stay here when visiting Calgary. The kids love the 2 pools. Staff are great and very friendly, from reception to room service. The only thing that needs improvement is the buffet breakfast. Good selection but not for people who are vegetarian or don't eat pork. There should be a better variety of eggs and non pork items (chicken...).

This place is the best for families. We've stayed here twice now and the water park is always fun, and also has life jackets which was a huge bonus! The restaurant downstairs has a breakfast $37 buffet for a family of four! Great food, and great staff. We stayed with 3 families and they put all our rooms right beside each other. We also checked in super early because of an early flight and they made it work! All good stuff about this hotel.

We had such a great stay here for the second time. The waterpark is fun for kids, and the hot tub nice for the parents. There is underground secure parking. The rooms and hallways are updated, and everything is very clean. The buffet breakfast at the restaurant was very good and great service too. The hotel staff were very responsive, we got a late check out when we asked, and also a couple of items brought to the room right away. Our window was perfect for plane spotting, the newly departed planes from a nearby airport. Also later there was a moose which came to snack on trees for a while.

Didn't have a great experience at this hotel. The main reason I booked it was to use the pool & sauna which was closed. The room was pretty bad. Tiles missing, holes in the walls, wallpaper peeling off, damp spots on the ceiling where the paint is falling off. The worst part of the room was when I was having a shower this morning and noticed lots of hair from the previous customer shaving and long hair all over the bathtub & walls of the shower. The breakfast + coffee was $21. Nice if you like plastic, rubbery sausages. The scrambled eggs were really nice. Location was excellent, very accessible. The Indian lady at the front desk was very kind, professional and apologetic about the situation. I understand that the employees can only do so much and are probably under a lot of pressure but I just wasn't happy with my stay here.
