A stupid idea underpins everything about Bob's. It is meant to be tech and modern. Endless emails from Bob's seek answers, but when the answers are provided and questions are asked, the tech solution falls apart. Nobody responds,just more automated emails. Bob's wrongly assumes that everyone has access to the internet no matter where you are in the world. When people don't have internet access, you can not even enter the building. Getting to talk to anyone is near impossible. When you do achieve some form of communication, many staff are dismissive of your concerns. Once in the apartment, the frustrations continue. On the surface, things look good. The bedroom is small and hard to walk around the bed. The only lighting is a small led strip in the bed head. This lighting is way under an acceptable level. The lighting debacle continues into the living area. The area where the couch is located has no lighting at all. You sit in the dark. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped but has no microwave oven. However, the extraction fan above the hot plate is possibly the most ineffective unit I have ever encountered. The smoke set off the fire alarm. There are no easy instructions on shutting off the alarm. Contacting the team at Bob's was a waste of time. They had no idea how to shut off the alarm. The fire alarm routinely went off for inexplicable reasons. The TV is good. The laundry is also good. The neighbourhood may not suit some, but it did not worry us. The whole concept of Bob's is flawed. There is very limited service and an over reliance on tech. I would never stay here again.

Nice place to stay. Booking and check-in takes few minutes and you can walk in just using your phone. A lot of space for a company. Quiet with very comfortable beds to rest afte the day of walking. Nicely equipped kitchen allows you to prepare food. Very good location, just 10 minutes walk to Munch Museum. Also public transport's stops neer by, so you can easily rich distant atractions. For beer lovers can recomend pub just across the street :)
