I have to admit; after reading some reviews, I was becoming worried about this hotel... but honestly I would have been so wrong to change. Colonna suite del Corso has a perfect location, any side you decide to walk from this hotel, you reach a historic landmark within minutes. Everywhere within reach and on foot. The hotel is immaculately clean and the staff we met were extremely kind and helpful. We were travelling in 3 and had a deluxe room, can't fault it in any way, nice and spacious, and the bed was really comfy. Will definitely return... highly recommended.

Nice location but no real lobby and reception is 1 flight of stairs up. Old hotel, not updated and very very small elevator. Breakfast was awful. Cold cuts, vegetables, bread and cereal. We were not offered bacon and eggs. Not with the upcharge. Also the room was odd. Round bed and window in the shower plus mold in bathroom and shower. I would not stay here again.

We just returned from a tour through Italy which ended with Rome. I cannot say enough about how well we were treated by the staff. Desiree and her team were amazing!! Colonna suite del corso was the first hotel to walk us up to our room to make sure we understood the layout and wifi as well as placement of our keycard to make the lights etc function. They were so professional and friendly! Upon departure they called a cab for us and walked down to make certain that it was the correct cab to take us to the airport. Our flight had been changed and we needed a later check out and they were so accomodating with storing our luggage. The room was so pleasantly cool and quiet even though we were right in the heart of the city center. We had everything we needed and the room was well appointed. The location is perfect and you will not be disappointed if you choose Colonna suite del corso.

Just returned from Rome and we really enjoyed our stay. Great central location just minutes from some of the city’s most popular sites. Breakfast was very good. The staff is amazing! Very kind always willing to assist. They arranged taxis for me and when I departed it was very early before breakfast began. They fixed us to go breakfast bags which was a very nice touch. Thank you Desiree and your team for an enjoyable stay.

Quaint, comfortable hotel. Great location within walking distance to all central historic sites in Rome. Good customer service and the ability to drop bags if arriving early. Good breakfast and comfortable bed. Booked the Superior Double room and it was nice for our one night. If staying longer, would opt for a larger room but it suited our needs. Would stay there again and would recommend if you're in Rome for a couple of days!
