To award the Frattina FF Italian Suites 1-star is to award it 1-star more than it deserves. Avoid this accommodation and host at all costs. Where to start. Shown to a dirty room after check-in and told we could leave our bags but that the room wasn't ready. We left for a few hours to go sightseeing. In terms of quality - the room was extremely small. There is nothing that resembles a suite at the Frattina FF Italian Suites. It is bargain basement student/stag level accommodation at an exorbitant price. On arriving back to our room later that evening it had indeed been cleaned and prepared however we were disgusted at the overall condition of the room for the price. The pictures attached paint a better picture than words can describe, however you can see that all walls are destroyed with suitcase marks; the outer door handle of the 'suite' was broken and hanging off; the outside handle of the bathroom was missing completely; there was disgusting dirt or burn or water damage around the bathroom sink; the outer shower area was filthy; the air-con unit was barely working; and there was an extremely overpowering 'scent' of cheap cleaner fragrance as if trying to mask a decrepit stench. Absolutely inexcusable issues for a highly priced rental. Such was our disgust we lost total faith in what was on offer from the host and decided to find alternatives accommodating at additional cost and short notice. Once there we contacted the host who could not have been more unhelpful. He had our money; he didn't care; he didn't offer any solutions; out to make money from tourists and to ruin your stay in Rome. Avoid this booking at all costs. It is overpriced; in disgusting condition; and you WILL be disappointed.
