The Grand Hotel Ambasciatori is a truly refreshing haven. Stepping into our room, we were immediately captivated by the sheer beauty of everything. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, enhancing our overall experience. While the restaurant served tasty dishes, do expect somewhat modest portion sizes. The beach area, with its deck-style sitting area, provided a perfect spot to bask in the sun while taking in the breathtaking view. While it's not a sandy beach but rather rocky, there's a designated swimming area if you fancy a dip. The surrounding area is tranquil, and the proximity to the town, with its array of restaurants and bars within walking distance, adds to the hotel's appeal. All in all, it was an enchanting stay, and I'm eagerly looking forward to returning.

We had a great stay on our honeymoon here. They upgraded our room for us so we had a suite with an amazing view! The breakfast was included and was incredible. The restaurant food was so good too. The beach area was lovely and not busy at all. The pool was a bit busy. The dress code is a little old fashioned but everyone was pretty nice and we had a great time.

Wonderful experience as a non guest in this fine establishment. We had a bottle of champagne last night and were treated with respect to the male waiters, which were very attentive doing their job. They would laugh and joke and were very well at reading their guests' body language and personality. We were serenaded by a lovely man and woman on guitars as per video. As we could never afford a one night stay here, it was nice to see how the other half live. What a beautiful hotel and restaurant met with a fantastic view of the islands to the left and Mount Vesuvius. This was the most outstanding place on our trip. Thank you to all staff and team at the Grand Hotel!

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. Beautifully landscaped with stunning views. The restaurants, staff, rooms, "beach" area and pool were great. It is centrally located as we took day trips to Capri, Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast from here. We easily walked into town several times as well. My family of 6 were treated exceptionally well the entire stay. I would highly recommend it.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 days. It is built into a side of a cliff with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Naples. Our room was facing both the pool and the sea, which we would marvel at every morning. To get to the "beach" (which is a huge deck with plenty of lounge chairs for sunbathing and access to the sea for swimming) you take an elevator down inside the cliff and exit through a small cave. The water is clear and warm and feels amazing on a hot summer day. The service was impeccable. Everyone, from the front desk staff, to the bellhops, servers and pool/beach staff were very friendly and helpful. We have to especially single out Sabrina, who helped make most of our dinner reservations and made restaurant recommendations. She was very friendly and all of her recommendations were top notch. Overall we had an amzing time and would highly recommend for our friends and family to stay here when traveling to Sorrento.
