Absolutely loved this hotel. It was bright, beautiful and spotless. All staff were so friendly and helpful. Just down the street from a Catholic Church and 800 meters to the main drag. There is a gorgeous lemon orchard right across the street! Beautiful breakfast with great coffee, lots of options and friendly staff! The best hotel stay in our one month visit to Italy!

Nice welcome at the reception. The room was nice, big and clean but was hot as they turn the aircon off from the 1st of November and was too noisy to keep the window open. Given the price we paid it would have been good to have been given water in the room. The hotel is in a good location, a short walk away from the main road with nice views of the sea. The breakfast was nice but the same every day.

We ended our honeymoon in Sorrento and loved our stay at the Grand Hotel De La Ville. Our room was very spacious with gorgeous tile throughout and a balcony. The daily breakfast buffet in the garden was delicious, a perfect start to the day. The hotel offers 2 pools, the rooftop offering gorgeous views of Mt Vesuvius. We found this hotel to be a great location, a little off the beaten path from the center but a very easy walk in. About 10 minute walk to the city center with shops, restaurants, etc and about a 20 minute walk to the marinas and beach clubs. Highly recommend this hotel!!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Elegant decor which was white throughout with no scuff marks. Large dining room with lots of attentive staff, 1/2 board, food of a high standard and the starters are a little on the large size. I wants to explore the culinary delights of Sorrento so only ate in x2 in the evenings. Breakfast was in an outside area and was very comprehensive. If you didn't have dinner you could have lunch under the 1/2 board. The room was large with a balcony, large wardrobes with safe. Bathroom marble sink and surround and even had a bidet. 11floor roof pool and sunbathing area with fantastic views over the bay of Naples taking in the mountains and Capri. Would stay again if I was to go to Sorrento but done Sorrento which is full of tourists and very busy. Hotel is located walking distance from the centre but down a quiet road.

Wonderful, solid 4 star hotel w many amenities (2 pools, late night food menu options, very good breakfast buffet) and caring/ cheerful staff. Would recommend for location (easy walk w suitcases to and from main bus and train station), atmosphere and location (quiet at night and 5 minutes from city center). Views from the seaward side rooms are awesome and Mt Vesuvius looks great. Rooms are spacious, well decorated, clean and beds are super comfy.
