Lovely friendly well run B&B with a good website to choose the room of your choice easily. Nicely decorated comfortable room’s affording a good night’s sleep. Light bright breakfast room where a hearty breakfast was served with a smile. Affordable accommodation with parking and walking distance from the city centre. Thank you to the owner-Manager for kindly forwarding me, without delay, the two precious items I had mistakenly left in a bedside drawer. Very much appreciated. Highly recommend stays here.

I thought the rooms were immaculately clean and the quality of sheets, pillows etc was very good and very new. Good parking which isn't always easy in Bath. The breakfast was good and the staff work hard. If I had one suggestion, it would be to throw out the two yellow soft chairs in our room. Everything looks so new, but the two chairs look like they've done their time.

We really enjoyed our stay at Grays. Thank you to the team! Lovely room, first class service, attention to detail. Nothing too much trouble and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Great location and easy walk to the city centre. Parking a plus. Veggie breakfast perfectly cooked. Highly recommended. We will be back!

Given they pride themselves on being boutique and family-run, we were surprised to see zero hospitality - we arrived after office hours but had to ask for details of how to get in (after multiple emails in angry capital letters about how we could only use one parking space), no welcome note (this or some mention of our wedding anniversary would've been nice), and no hello at breakfast. Breakfast was average - plus we had to ask for more toast and got given 2 tiny pieces of the end of a loaf and felt bad for wanting more. The rooms were lovely, the view was lovely. But the experience was not 5 star. Additionally, the place was full of warnings not to steal from the room (sorry if the b&b had a bad experience but no need for so many capital letters!)and emails we were expected to reply to whilst on holiday. Given we could have stayed in town but chose this place for the unique factor, I sadly wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it.
