Called needing to cancel due to emergency. Notified hotel well in advance and was consistently told to keep calling to get a manager. After being put on pause for several days, was told that the hotel could not give me any sort of reimbursement despite several hotels in the area working with me on this issue - because it was too close to check in day. I would avoid.

We had a delicious dinner here during our stay in Grindelwald. The view was superb, and the food was wonderful. We would happily return.

Everyone was so nice! We got upgraded to a suite and the views from the balcony were amazing, I wish we had stayed more days. Breakfast was good. Breads, cold cuts, regional cheeses musli and yogurt and good coffee too. We are very pleased with the short time we had in this lovely clean hotel. I hope to be back someday

We've always wanted to do a Chalet visit and I'm glad we picked this one. We travelled with our 2 year old daughter and the hospitality was fantastic here. They took such great care of us. The receptionist was very helpful with answering questions we had and provided us with a map/free visitor pass for the local bus. The waitress during breakfast was very friendly and hospitable. We ate dinner here on our last night and got to enjoy quality and authentic Swiss dishes. The view was stunning from our room and we enjoyed relaxing in the balcony every night. Room was big and beds were comfortable. It was raining on our last day so we were able to arrange for the free shuttle bus service which was very convenient. The only thing I can fault is the fact that the hotel is located on a steep hill, it is close to the station but walking there with alot of luggage and/or kids is challenging so request the free shuttle service if you need it.

This place is amazing! The staff was very helpful. We were traveling with our 4 month old, who decided to start screaming at dinner. The staff helped us take our diner up to the room. The rooms all have great views. We ended up needing an extra day and didn't have a reservation and had to go to another hotel. We were sad because the next place we went wasn't nearly as good. Breakfast is excellent. When we left they gave us a ride over our next hotel, which was way up the hill. Look no further this place is excellent.
