- air conditioning doesn’t work! Just stay at 23 degrees, but does work at all. - NO SERVICE DESK!! They say you can call number 9 to talk with receptionist at ANY TIME (24/7) when you are making the check in, but it’s NOT TRUE!!! when we went to make the check out we called 2 times at 6:15 in the morning and NO ONE picks the phone!! We had to go outside to talk with the receptionist on the bell, and he said we need to go to ANOTHER HOTEL to make our check out! (No one advice in advance on check in about it) When I arrived at the other hotel, the staff was extremely rude also saying “if you need to go early you need to wake up early! Remember I said I called 2 times before!!! I almost lost the bus to the airport. Another thing is the first floor on the hotel there is NO silence at all!! 6 in the morning the kitchen starts to prepare the breakfast, so if you are on the first floor you can not sleep! A lot of noise! Very disturbing! Completely uncomfortable. Room it’s ok, but the king size bed it’s not a king size it’s 2 small bed together!! I hardly do not recommend this hotel! If you need a hotel to relax after a trip day, RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

We came from the airport to Venice at 01:00 am, had no internet and hardly found Hotel Campiello (Hotel Campiello and Paganelli seemed to be the same hotel chain). We reviewed both hotels in booking and there were available rooms in both. There was written to go to the Hotel Paganelli on the door of Hotel Campiello or rang the door. We rang, very rude and impolite administrator answered saying that he didn’t have any room and couldn’t give us room and hanged up the phone. Awful. We tried to find Hotel Paganelli (not knowing that the same not professional was sitting there talking to us). Found, stood in front of the door, he saw us but didn’t open the door. We knocked the door, finally he opened and when we asked for available room appeared that he was talking to us on the phone and again very rudely said to leave hotel because he didn’t have any room. I said that there were available rooms in booking and I could book it. He said no. Do you imagine that if I have booked paying all price and he is inviting us out. What we could do at night 01:00 am. And he even said not stay there and went out. So dear owner of these 2 hotels, be aware that your hotel can be in best location, can have best rooms but if you would have such employees, no one will come to your hotel anymore. One hint to find that administrator - it was 23.12.23 around 01:00 am. If you think about your hotel reputation, throw out him

We stayed in Hotel Campiello for 4 nights. The location cannot be better (close to San Marco square and ferry station in a quiet alley), rooms are recently renovated and clean, breakfast was good. The hotel staff helped us with water taxi reservations, restaurant reservation, handling our luggage to water taxi dock. Special thanks to Francesco.
