Great room, additional bonus if you get one with a balcony. Spacious and clean room. Though room service can be better. I didn't find my cup clean when i returned. Also didnt replenish tea sachet which was used. Overall, an avg exp. 8/10.

The excellent location was surpassed by two things: the breakfast buffet; and the genuine friendliness of the staff (both front desk and breakfast). They made us feel truly welcomed.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Hotel and our room were very clean and the staff was so very helpful. Just a reminder that taxes are paid when you check out and ours were the equivalent of $300 US. We knew the taxes would be paid upon departure but had no idea that the amount was that high. Be sure to budget accordingly!

Nice hotel at two minutes from the Grand Central station and buses. Many shops and an ATM across the street in and near the train station. Lucerne is a lovely town with many old buildings and bridge, taking a guided tour is a good idea. You can book the Glacier Express, a ride up to the Pilatus peak, take a boat, have a New Year Gala or just take in the scenery of the lake.
