We stayed for a weekend in the Hotel. The hotel is very clean and the staff very kind and helpful. Rooms are a bit old but easy to stay. What really impressed us is that they allow dogs and they are so organized where they have toys and a towel for the dog in the room. That was an amazing gesture. If we visit again we will definitely stay in the same hotel. The location is perfect in the center of the village. Breakfast was simple, they could add few more options, but the staff there was very nice. Restaurant in the hotel: I am totally impressed with the restaurant of the hotel. The food was amazing, the dessert as well. The staff so polite and kind. I can’t describe how amazed I was. Many local flavors and many choices to choose. The Apple strudel was amazing!!!!

I had a wonderful stay, they also upgraded my room so it was a lot more spacious and it had a great view. The staff were friendly and helpful. The lunch at the restaurant was really good too, enjoyed the apple and celery soup.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel but it left us literally and metaphorically with a very bad taste in our mouths! The food was incredibly heavy and salty, everything from the overpriced and heavily sauced Japanese Udon noodles to the heavily salted tomato soup was barely edible. My daughter, aged 7, ordered the macaroni and cheese (her favourite dish) and couldn’t eat it. We asked for another dish to replace it (we accepted that we would pay for the barely touched macaroni) and the very abrupt waiter reluctantly and unapologetically brought her another dish. Upon receiving the bill I politely requested if the macaroni could be removed from the bill as a gesture. The waiter seemed completely perplexed by this and called the chef. Moments later the chef came and asked the problem - I explained and requested if the item could be removed. The chef’s response was to ask me what my job is! ”What relevance?” I responded to which he replied he works very hard etc etc and in Switzerland you must pay for what you order. At that point my wife decided best we just pay and leave which we did. Conclusion: The food, barely edible. The service, obnoxious. I am not one for writing reviews but this experience was so bad I really couldn’t let it go. Please avoid this place!!
