It was a very nice hotel for a 2-4 night stay. It is a 15-35 minute walk to the city center. Or a 15-minute bus ride to the center or to Pisa train station. The main bus line runs on the side of the hotel (on main street). The hotel itself was nice. The walls were a bit thin. My neighbor snored really loudly. The rooms were clean. The bed was just inside the door and shower small. The room was not large, Maybe a smaller bed would have provided a bit more room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The laundry service was great.

Staying at Hotel Maggiore Bologna was an absolute delight. The warmth and friendliness of the staff were remarkable, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived. The impeccable cleanliness throughout the premises was truly impressive, making me feel comfortable and at ease. The presence of an air conditioner and a small refrigerator in the room added a touch of convenience that enhanced my stay. The combination of comfort and functionality in the amenities truly made a difference. The location of the hotel is both convenient and strategic, making it easy to explore the city and enjoy the surroundings. Reflecting on my experience, I can confidently say that if I were to return to Bologna, Hotel Maggiore would be my top choice without hesitation. The overall experience, from the attentive staff to the well-maintained facilities, has left a positive and lasting impression.

Room was CLEAN. Shower was refreshing. Electric blinds were AMAZING. Air conditioning was COLD 🙌🧊 Breakfast buffet was full of variety and delicious. Service throughout was top-notch. I would not hesitate to stay again at Maggiore and I recommend it to anyone coming to Bologna

This property was great. Not close to the centre of the city but a short bus ride (#13 bus) got us there quick. You can buy bus tickets at the front desk, or on the bus directly. The staff treated us great! The rooms are very spacious, very well kept, and super clean. A bit on the older side but still nice and big. No pool. No balcony. They brought us a baby crib with extra towels for the children which was very nice. No breakfast offered but there is a mall close by (near the bus stop) with a GREAT cafe to eat at. The mall also has a grocery store. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We would return here in the future. kid/family friendly resort.

The hotel has a parking and can be accessed by bus (there are many bus stops nearby -within 5 min walking distance. Please note that the evening return busses could be quite crowded). The hotel is off a main street, but the noise is not noticeable, except for the very few minutes in case of an emergency ambulance rushing towards the nearby hospital (happened twice for 3 nights). They can offer gluten free breakfast upon request as well.
