A good 3 star hotel right in the heart of the city Centro Storico. Step out of the hotel and you are in the main street with lots of Pizzeria and restaurants. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. It sometimes gets a little loud outside (even in the night) due to its location. The bathroom is fine. The breakfast is basic with croissants, coffee, cereals, breads etc. The hotel reception and the staff is very friendly and helped us every time when we needed assistance. It’s not a luxury hotel, but for the price that you pay and considering the location. It is a very good deal.

It’s a little hard to find but well worth the effort. The lobby is on the 3rd floor! Claudio was incredibly helpful, as was the entire staff, and the hotel is centrally located, right in the thick of everything! Clean rooms, nice bed, definitely recommend.

Horrible experience! I may be unlucky but this was the worst experience of my life and I travel a lot! I arrived at the place and the room was super dirty, dusty and the mattress with mold (pictures attached). The AC was not working but it was only on fan mode. I went to complain at the reception showing pics and videos. The guy offered me an extra sheet and suggested me to open the window if too hot; I told him there was a lady singing and he told me she will soon or later stop. I arrived at the hotel late and it was hard to find an other hotel. I spent more than 1 hour on the phone with bookings.com to complain and find a solution but nothing. I had to sleep in that horrible room. This morning, I received 21 € as a refund (I paid 76 €) but no one from the management came to talk to me to apologize for happened. I had the throat Hitching the whole night for the dust and I felt it was not healthy to sleep on such dirty mattress, plus it was very hot in the room. Breakfast was bad as well. Very little variety, the ham and cheese were old and the color was not so nice. P.s. It is a pity I cannot share the videos as they would give a better idea of the situation.

Hotel Neapolis is a 'no frills', boutique type hotel located in the heart of the historical, old centre of Napoli. Step out of the Hotel entrance and immediately one is right in the hustle and bustle of the historical part of Napoli with its myriad restaurants, bars and shops. The nearest Metro station (Dante) is only a very short (5 mins max) walk away and the Hotel is around a 25-30 minute taxi ride from Napoli Airport. Rooms at Hotel Neapolis are serviced daily with clean towels and beds made, although bed sheets are not changed daily. Whilst rooms are very clean they are sparsely furnished and a little small. The TV is Italian speaking channels only and there is no kettle for coffee/tea making. Wi Fi though is free and of decent quality and the essential air conditioning worked well. The en-suite bathroom was generally acceptable, although the shower cubicle was very, very small (!) and all the bathroom fittings really do need renewing!! Breakfast is of continental style and I could not fault it - with an excellent selection of cereals, breads, juices, pastries, yoghurts, cold meats and cheese and excellent coffee. Staff at the Hotel Neapolis are, in my experience, very friendly and really helpful for general tourist information, booking of taxis etc. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Hotel Neapolis as long as you are happy with a fairly basic level of accommodation! This is certainly not a 'luxury' hotel, but for a short stay right in the heart of old Napoli, it is certainly well worth considering. 4 stars out of 5
