we loved our stay in Hotel Sacher. the hotel and rooms were grand, without feeling over the top. very elegant design. perfect location within walking distance of restaurants and sights. the staff were amazing and very kind and helpful throughout our stay. breakfast was fresh with lots of variety, and great coffee. the hotel felt relaxing and inviting. loved the rooms. very soft pillows, plenty of cupboard space, and a nice cosy feel. the bathrooms were ideal - large and luxurious, heaps of towels, and the bathrobes were really soft. the bath pillow was an absolute winner!! wish we were staying longer!

Great hotel in a great location. My room was very large and comfortable. Excellent bathroom. Great service from the hotel staff and the dining on site was excellent. However, there are two issues that should be corrected: 1. The lighting system is too complicated and difficult to use. You have to start with the main switch which turns everything on and then figure out what to turn off. Most people prefer to just start with darkness and turn on the chosen lights. This is high tech run amok. 2. Towels and sheets where changed every day which shows a lack of consciousness about sustainability and the environment. Just because I stay in a 5 star hotel does not mean I don't care about the environment. At a minimum guests should be given a choice.

We had a perfect stay at Sacher Salzburg and we will definitely be back again. The hotel is gorgeous, and if Christmas means to you as much as it means to me, you'll happy to know the hotel just lights up during the holiday season. They had beautiful touches throughout the hotel which makes it extra special. The hotel has great amenities, with the wonderful sacher cafe, sacher grill, and the most inviting lounge. We really enjoyed the lounge at the end of a long day walking. The location is ideal, walking distance from the city center but far enough for a good night's sleep. The rooms are well done and the bathroom is spacious. The breakfast was incredibly generous and diverse. Finally, the service was top. Every person we interacted with was kind and helpful. Highly recommend and can't wait to be back again.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights at Sacher in September 2023. Our room and the entire hotel are beautiful! The staff is very friendly and courteous. Anna from reception was so sweet and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had a great dinner on the hotel terrace. We were within walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. Best experience ever anywhere. I can’t say enough great things about this hotel and the people who work there. 100% excellent experience. Everything was 5 stars across the board. We stayed in the Deluxe Room View and the room and views were amazing. All hotel staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast buffet and staff were also amazing. Dinner was great too. Someone in our party woke up feeling ill and the entire staff went above and beyond to take care of every request. Highly recommend. Will absolutely stay here again.
