Beautiful clean room with good sized balcony, a day bed and decent sized bathroom with good facilities. Friendly cleaners keeping our room spotless and with plenty of fresh towels etc daily. Hotel was located close to Sorrento centre & restaurants and train station from which we came from a 5 minute walk. Pool was great, although a little small. All the staff including our waiters at breakfast were very courteous & helpful. Great value.

I’m writing this review as a very cautionary one! My spouse and I spent a week there from October 14th-21st, the restaurant wait staff are good but the cleaning staff and hotel management are not to be trusted. It’s very sad to end a fabulous Italian holiday where all those we encountered were honest genuine loving locals. Upon checkout and arrival at our next hotel after staying at Hotel Zi Teresa in Sorrento we discovered that our MAID had stolen 5 expensive bottles of wine from us. It’s not so much the cost but the memories that were created upon purchasing these fine delicious Italian Tuscan favourites, it’s the fact that my son and his new bride were our travelling companions. The intent was to open them upon their 5 wedding anniversary and then one after each year leading up to their tenth. Those memories were stolen from us with these wines and for that I resent the hotel and their cleaning and management for insinuating that we must be mistaken, well we are not! Enough said, stay clear of this hotel for theft must be a common practice and also deceit and lying!

I couldn’t wait to check out of this hotel so I could leave my review. I checked out a few hours ago. Upon check in the woman at the front desk was cold and it seemed we a bother to her. She handed me a list of rules and sent me on my way. She gives me a key on a ring and tells me to leave it at the front desk every time I leave the hotel. When we entered our room, I noticed mold on the ceilings and the shower doors did not close properly water leaked out onto the floor every time we showered! On our 2nd day ants were all over the floor. The beds were hard as rocks. My hips are still killing me.! No iron in the room, and the blow dryer seems like a vacuum cleaner from 1960. The maids did not clean nor sweep, just pulled the sheets up on our beds. They give you one pool towel per person for your entire stay which you pay 3 euros per towel. The breakfast was lacking in options and flavor. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed two nights at Hotel Michelangelo on Corso Italia before checking in to Zi Teresa and it was the most amazing experience!

We had an impromptu 1 night stay here last night and it was lovely! So lovely that we got engaged on the roof top terrace!! We had a balcony room with sea views and a stunning room. But what I will say is that the bathroom drains stunk to high heaven. And the towels were stained/dirty which was a real shame because it was a lovely stay. Breakfast was a bit lacking but they have an egg menu to make omelette etc which iv never seen before. Reception staff were lovely and helpful and its an easy 10min walk from the train station. Would definitely come back again!

A strictly 4-star hotel, and a price to match. We spent a week in Sorrento on our honeymoon, and booked a room overlooking the sea - at least, a quarter of it. The vast majority overlooked shabby buildings, most notably the local police station directly opposite. Unfortunately this meant that sirens could be heard loud and frequently throughout the day, and long into the night. The bed was a little on the hard side, and the bathroom could've done with a new shower, but other than that it was nice. Once you got used to the view, you started to appreciate being so close to the noise and the bustle of everyday life, and we were grateful that it didn't take too long to walk to either the town centre or the coast. The breakfast was exactly what you'd expect for a 4-star hotel. There was a nice variety but nothing to write home about, and a notable absence of hot food. There would be two hot items a day: scrambled eggs, and then either mushrooms or baked beans. For some reason, the fruit salad disappeared after 2 days, to be replaced by what looked like prunes in a bowl of their own juice. Nonetheless, we enjoyed breakfast every morning we were there, and the staff were extremely polite and friendly. The pool facilities were fantastic, although we felt it could've stayed open a little longer than 6pm. I think if we came back to Sorrento, we'd want to try staying somewhere else for a different experience. However, for anyone who hasn't been to Sorrento before and wants affordable, conveniently-placed accommodation, I can 100% recommend Hotel Zi Teresa.
