I had called to let them know I would be checking in late due to flight getting pushed back. Room was hot, smells like cigarettes smoke. A/C gross and hardly working. Bad location and very dirty. 2 towels no wash cloths, has mini fridge not cold, and a microwave & TV. As far as the name this place gives experience a bad name & rep. It's a place to try and get a few winks. Bathroom and side room extremely hot. I wet towel down to see how dirty floor was . Gross dirty..

It's unfortunate that I had to give this Howard Johnson such a low rating. I have stayed at this Howard Johnson on more than one occasion, and the stay was good. But this last time the a/c unit was not working in all 3 room's they moved me to. Then the front desk clerk acted like I was bothering him. But I couldn't stay in the first two rooms the a/c was blowing Hot air. The third room blew cool air some of the time. But I was not going to go back to the front desk to change rooms again. So I stayed in the room and ended up coming down sick. When I checked out the clerk acted like she didn't know what I was saying. She just kept saying ok. You can go there are no charges. Oh they still charged me for the room.

I have PTSD from a swarm of bees suddenly coming through the bathroom vent into my room. I ran out screaming and the front desk guy called the cops on me even though there were hundreds of bees outside as well.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This place looks NOTHING like the photos and the website lies. Although the location after coming in from a long flight is ideal, the place is dirty and gross. We had a room change after finding a huge roach in the tub and climbing all over our towels, the new room wasn't any better. The AC took hours to cool the room down and even though we didn't find a roach again there were other dead bugs all over the bathroom. When morning came we noticed the cracks around the AC and no trims under the door, no wonder there's bugs everywhere. There is no breakfast at ALL even though the website says there is a freebreakfast.

The room was HOTTTT... After 100+ Temps the AC was not on in the room. Everything was warm/hot. Good thing I was traveling alone. The keycard slot on the door didn't work so I walked back downstairs with all my luggage only to be told by the attendant to slide it real fast.... He could have told me that when he handed me the key. Many of the lights weren't plugged in and had exposed wires. When checking in all the doors to the lobby were locked with no signs, only to see the attendant having left to get lunch. Like sir, please put a sign up so I'm not constantly looking around my shoulder and inside and at my phone planning what to do next.
