The Hyatt host, Alyssa, was the rudest, most unpleasant person I have ever experienced at a hotel, let alone a Hyatt employee. I asked her if I could get a different room because the air conditioning wasn't working and the room was stuffy, the alarm clock wasn't working, and the water pressure in the shower was low. The second probably just required batteries, the last was probably a result of an older hotel, but the first is an issue. She said if I needed to move again, she would have to charge me. CHARGE ME FOR A HOTEL ROOM WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING??!?!? At a Hyatt of all places!! Then when I complained about her attitude, she threatened to call the police. Oh and she wanted to charge me for water's! As a loyal Globalist member, I am entitled to 2 bottles of water a day. She and the other lady at the desk has created a very uncomfortable environment here during my stay! Never again!

I feel really horrible complaining as I never complain but honestly the Hyatt place in Phoenix North is the WORST hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I’m shocked it’s a Hyatt. Where to began? I called over 24 hours in advance to arrange a 1st floor room since I have my service dog and once I check in I’m told “only 3&4th floors are available”. I called the concierge line and luckily they were able to help. Then with my new room the AC didn’t work, Maintenace came and “fixed” it. It now reads 65 degrees but feel more like 80. I even bought a thermostat and it read 77. The bed is super uncomfortable, the room has a lot of random stains, burns, scratches on the doors etc. it’s been years since I’ve stayed at a motel but I think most motels are better than this Hyatt. I’ve attached pictures for your review. We almost went down the street to one of the 3 hiltons within a mile since I do have diamond status for the last 5 years. However we are trying to be brand loyal to Hyatt, if this was my first Hyatt experience, I’d never stay at another. I wish I would’ve read the Google reviews about this place before hand, but figured Hyatt kept all their facilities to the same standard. I highly encourage you to read the reviews for this property, I think Hyatt should take their name off of it. This is/was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I am ashamed it’s apart of the Hyatt collection. I’ve stayed in hotels in the Middle East for $8 a night and it felt similar to this place.

This place is disgusting. I could have stayed at a low budget motel and probably have a better room. The carpet, and furniture, were covered in stains that made me question taking my shoes off. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall and the bed/pillows most have been minimally 10 years old. After asking if all the rooms were that bad, the woman at the front desk said, “yes this building is old.” She gave me a key to a new room and asked which I would prefer; the new one wasn’t any better.
