Quiet and out of town but still close to local restaurants, 7-11, Grab taxi. Awesome on-site cafe with barista-made coffee. Loved sitting right by the river on well-appointed decks. Insta-worthy location. I hope to return one day.

The Maraya Hotel & Resort is a fusion of contemporary with traditional Lanna style and attention to the details. The outdoor space such as the garden, pool and extended garden to the River Ping. It is a beautiful setting, despite being close to the road but we cannot hear the traffic noise. The location is not too far from the airport and easy to access the city. A restaurant is about 3 minutes walk from the hotel which has delicious Thai food. My husband and I are from the UK and stayed here for 6 nights. We booked the Deluxe room which has a spacious space and a lot of storage also a balcony. The mattress was very comfortable as we requested a hard mattress as a result, my husband did not get any backache. The breakfast was cooked to order such as American or Thai breakfast. We both love American breakfast very much, especially the white sauce with salad was my favorite. The staff was very polite, and helpful and there was nothing too much for them. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for somewhere to stay comfortably and have a good price.

The staff at Maraya Hotel and Resort were extremely friendly and helpful. They made our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was sumptuous, the rooms were comfortable and very clean. The hotel is right on the Ping River, very peaceful with beautiful views. The restaurant was under renovation, so we were not able to eat other meals there. Having your own transportation is helpful as there are not many restaurants or stores nearby.

I will start with the great part first: the room is big, service was good, stuffs are all friendly. The swimming pool water was warm, view by the river is also nice, and they have a big cat. The breakfast was simple but clean, service was nice and warm, the coffee can be better. Here are some parts can get improved: we had a beautiful view from our balcony, but the balcony is too dirty, the balcony actually fully covered by thick dirt, so you cannot get relaxed on the bench or just stand there to enjoy it. The hotel is next by the road, which means you can hear the traffic clearly, that's a bit noisy. They were renovating because of the biggest flood this year. You can take many beautiful pictures in the hotel area, overall it was a happy stay, worth the money.
