This hotel is tucked away in a small street. I was welcomed warmly by the staff. Both the reception desk and the concierge where charming and helpful. My room was small but it was really cozy. The bed was super nice, they offer different kinds of pillows too. The washroom had plenty of toiletries. The minibar was full. Wifi was fast and reliable. Breakfast was tasty. The location is just nearby eateries, luna park and you can walk to the old market and further down to the coast. There was little to no noise in the room. Very quiet. There wasn't much of a view outside but I didn't mind that. What I appreciated most was the staff and service.

I stayed here just for a night with my family passing by Izmir. We searched several hotels in Izmir and the staff here in the Park hotel were so respectful and helpful. Breakfast was super fantastic compared to the price we paid for the hotel. The room was very clean and the air conditioning was working perfectly. Wifi worked fine at first and got a bit spiky after ( I think that is because we were the last room in the corridor ) And finally I found this note of the staff so cute .

Hotel's location was great. 3 min from train/metro station, and almost 8 min from the tram. Easy access and it's located in a side streets. Some rooms are without windows, but mine had a window to the main street. Noise was not major. Staff are helpful and polite. They speak perfectly.

There's no proper air circulation and too much noise in the lobby! It's so hard to stay in peace there if you have any kind of sensitivity like autism. Lousy start for me. They have installed a cat repellent device that makes an extremely high-pitched sound and disturbs everyone. But a cat is walking in the restaurant section! The rooms have a heavy smell of cigarettes as well as the smell of old furniture. It was a wonderful paradox that they said no smoking and put an ashtray in the room. The air conditioner is old, noisy and smells damp. Insulation is poor, noises from other rooms can be heard. The lighting in the room is very bad, cheap and unhealthy bulbs are used. The pillows were in disgraceful condition, even though I asked the housekeeper to change the ones in the room, the pillows they brought as "clean" were also yellowed from dirt. Close to the check-out time, the housekeeper tried to open the door and enter directly without knocking which is an unacceptable disgrace! I had to change to another hotel after staying 1 night.
