I found this hotel in late 2019 and had a canal view suite booked for early May of 2020 as part of a ' bucket list' European tour. Covid made sure that trip didn't happen. I was very happy to be able to rebook for September 2023. We had a truly wonderful experience in Venice, greatly enhanced by our accommodation at this hotel. The location was perfect, close enough for easy access to everywhere one wanted to go, but quiet enough to relax and find local dining without fighting the crowds. The room was above expectations and the staff were fantastic. I can understand why they get repeat customers.

Nicoletta (GM) and her friendly and helpful staff made our stay amazing. The hotel was built in 1600 and has all the amenities of any current hotel available today. Beautiful views of Grand Canale, located close to all attractions but not in the touristy area. Local restaurants, wine bars and shopping were excellent. We truly enjoyed this hotel and plan to be back soon.

We had the pleasure of staying for 4 days at this fully renovated beautiful hotel. The Cortiana family was very friendly and helpful in suggesting restaurants and sites of interest. Highly recommend this perfectly located hotel.

Since a long time I dreamed of staying over night in Venice to see the town going to sleep and waking up. Nicoletta and Stefano made my dream come true. I never felt so welcome like in this hotel❗️ Nicoletta was right by my side when I arrived with the water taxi. She explained me a lot about Venice, gave me a Plan and told me where the best places are e.g. to watch the sunrise or with less tourists. I had the junior suite with a look right on the Canale Grande - like I wanted it, but the very best place in the hotel is the balcony on the first floor where the bar is and the breakfast is served. In the evening I had a drink on the balcony and I could watch all the traffic on the Canale Grande. That’s what I wanted to see. They also made it possible that I could have my breakfast on the balcony, too. That was so cool. Thank you very much, Nicoletta and Stefano. I will never forget the time at your hotel and I can recommend it for everyone who wants to go to Venice.
