This is a great place to stay if you are visiting Universal/Disney/SeaWorld. They have a shuttle run to Universal daily which came in pretty handy as parking at Universal costs around $40. The staff was amazing and accommodated our early check-in request. Services are great, with a laundry and gym available. You also have a swimming pool and mini golf which we were unable to use. Breakfast was decent too. Size of the rooms is great, which a fully functional kitchen and dining area. Would absolutely stay here again! Go for it, it's in a great location, and there are many good restaurants around in the area.

I was looking for a Marriott close to Universal Studios and chose the Residence Inn. First time there, and thank you to Shannon, who checked us in. She was welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable about the areas surrounding the hotel. We had the 2 bedroom 2 bath suite with full kitchen and dining table. We had plenty of room to roam. A 5 minute drive if that, to Universal. The breakfast was like any other Marriott chain offering breakfast, and it was fine for us. i would stay here again.

Titanium member. My three days and two nights here were well spent. Every team member I encountered was pleasant, cheerful even, and certainly professional. The breakfast offerings are plentiful and well attended. Lots of (included) parking, nice pool, outside patio, etc. Greatly appreciate that there's fresh (and free) coffee available throughout the day in the lobby. I'll be happy to return. Easily recommended, and a good, central location.

The staff is attentive and kind, especially Gerald. The breakfast is a standard American one, but some days it's not well replenished. Having the option of coffee available all day is a plus. Now, regarding cleanliness; it's terrible! Worst hotel experience to date. Stayed for 10 days, and despite the room availability sign, no cleaning was done. We had to request it on the 5th day, and what was done lacked replenishment, no towel changes, very disappointing. The soundproofing between rooms is terrible; you can hear other guests coughing, talking... The kitchen only provides 2 pans, scarce utensils. With so many options in Orlando, it's not worth a return.

A few issues but ultimately a beautiful hotel in a prime location. We recently booked a room here in order to attend Halloween Horror Nights at Universal. I was surprised to find a relatively similar/cheaper-priced hotels than many others when this one is located almost across the street from the park. Easily a 5-10 min drive, even with traffic, and there’s lots around to do as well. Rooms are beautiful and incredibly spacious. Our suite with the king is about the size of a small apartment. Lovely little kitchen area and sizeable living room with a pull out couch that could easily accommodate 3 guests comfortably. Maybe 4. Bathroom and bedroom were also spacious. Breakfast is offered, but it’s not all that great in my opinion. A few nitpicking things: For all the space afforded to the bathroom, I believe they could have made the tubs a bit bigger to be more comfortable and not have the toilet right against the wall. The light on one side of the room didn’t work. They provide some free streaming on the TV like Max, but whatever program Marriott has been using for this has been incredibly slow. Last, the pull out bed is nice, but the cushions sag into the couch a bit, which makes it a little uncomfortable for sitting.
