Luxurious rooms, superb location overlooking the square at Spanish steps - handy breakfast We had planned to book a room at Hotel Condotti which has multiple properties around the Spanish steps Victor at the front desk took us to 3 properties and we loved the look of the Spagna Luxury apartments. The price was more than we were willing to pay, but booking directly we were able to get a great deal. The room was large overlooking the square at Spanish steps (see photos at various times during the day). The bathroom was clean, new and the towels and supplies luxurious. A well stocked coffee and breakfast room with a nice dining area was right on our floor. A bonus was the mini balcony we could lean out over the square. The Spagna apartments are a 2 minute walk from Hotel Condotti. There is an elevator to get to the 3rd floor. The hotel also arranged for a Mercedes sedan for about the same price as a taxi to the airport.

Amazing location, super friendly reception staff, and very reasonably priced. Frederique was a wonderful host, and very helpful and welcoming, as were all of the staff we talked to over our stay. Reception is manned 24/7 so security and access are of no concern. The rooms are finished to a high standard. Our room had dual waterfall showers, a large king bed, as well as amply sized his and hers wardrobes. There’s a mini fridge with some space in for your own drinks, as well as some usual reasonably priced offerings. The WiFi is good, and there are plenty of power sockets in the room. There are large smart TVs that let you sign into Netflix/Amazon etc. The location is unbeatable. It’s a stones throw to the Spanish Steps, with metro access 100M away. There are loads of high end shops (Tiffany, Gucci, Versace, Audemars Piguet) one street over, and many great restaurants and bars. Check out La Buvette for an excellent, fairly priced dinner, Venchi for Gelato, Pompi for Tiramisu, and IL SALUMAIO for amazing Panini. All less than a minute walk away. All of the major sites are less than a 20 minute walk. Vatican City is a little further, but only €1.50 on the metro. Would highly recommend Spagna Luxury rooms to anyone looking for comfortable, relaxed base to explore Rome from.

Horrible experience, the room stank of cigarettes and had no soundproofing whatsoever. We left immediately (without unpacking at all) and they refused to refund us any of our money. Avoid at all costs! There are lots of nice options nearby (especially at this crazy cost per night).
