Really near from exit C1 from Ikebukuro station, that make it easier to use any kind of transportation. The room is small, I think it should be perfect for someone who came alone and didn’t bring much more luggages (like me). There’s no service for any room. Guests should change theirs towel and take trash out by themselves. Staff didn’t fluent in english, but still can communicate to foreigner guests.

Don't go here. The rooms are okay and the location is lovely, but the beds are the hardest I've ever had; my back is aching after two nights

Very small room, fits one 2 person bed, a toilet, shower and has 2 square meters to spare. Not a very big issue, but this really leaves no room to store your luggage, which is a bit of a problem if you have a lot of it. Your room does not get cleaned, you're expected to take out the trash yourselves, not really an issue though. Otherwise, nice location, close to the metro and a nice neighborhood to take an evening walk. There us plenty of shopping and eating to do in the neighborhood, and a laundromat is around the corner.

Found on AirBnb, huge disappoinment. I know it's one of the cheaper places, but cheap doesn't mean disgusting. The room was super tiny, even for Japanese standards. It's love hotel originally, and so the room is basically a bed only. No place to walk, no place to change clothes, no place to keep your luggage. Even the tiny floor was covered with filthy black sticky stains. The toilet room had bad smell of sewerage. The toilet seat isn't a Japanese bidet. There is strong smell of cigarettes in the bedroom. You need to get rid of the trash by yourself. My baggage was delayed, but in the front desk they said they can't receive my baggage, and that I must be in the room and wait by myself. And the worst part: when we checked out we saw they place the dirty bed sheets on the disgusting floor outside. Better add the price of lunch and get a way better place.
