Agartala Airport, also known as the Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport (IATA: IXA), is located in Agartala, India. It is a domestic airport located 12 km northwest of Agartala, the state capital of Tripura. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) is in charge of this airport. It is the third-busiest airport in the northeast region of India.
