Kangra-Gaggal Airport (IATA: DHM) is the regional airport in Himachal Pradesh located in Gaggal. The airport is about 8 km from the Kangra city centre and about 15 km from Dharamshala. Popularly known as Dharamshala Airport, it is well connected to Dharamshala by state and private buses, autos and even taxis. It has regular flights to New Delhi. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (SVPIA), or Ahmedabad Airport, was named after Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Indiaís first Deputy Prime Minister.
