Jamnagar Airport (IATA: JAG), also known as the Govardhanpur Airport, is 10 km away from the main city of Jamnagar. The Indian Air Force is in charge of the airport and oversees its daily operations. Established in 1540 A.D. by Jay Rava Jadeja, Jamnagar is one of the largest cities in Gujarat, situated in the south of the Gulf of Kutch and to the west of the capital city of Gandhinagar.
