The official name of Bhubaneswar Airport is Biju Patnaik International Airport, and the IATA code is BBI. The airport is named after the well-known freedom fighter, aviator, and the former chief minister of Odisha, Biju Patnaik. Biju Patnaik International Airport is the only international airport in Odisha and is situated 3 km away from the city centre.
