Beautiful hotel with very caring and accommodating staff. My husband and I stayed here in January and our room was upgraded from a basic double room to a panoramic room with a Matterhorn view. Getting to jump out of bed in the morning and see whether or not the Matterhorn was visible was so fun. We particularly loved the wellness and spa areas after long days of skiing. The ski room with equipment dryers and lockers was an amazing touch. We will be back! Thank you so much Alpen Resort!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Alpen. We booked the family suite which was excellent for 2 adults & 2 kids for the week. Great to have separate bedrooms and a living area. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel facilities excellent and the breakfast buffet delicious and all the staff friendly and helpful. Happy with the location, could walk everywhere in town and close the Sunnegaa and Gornergrat stations. Handy bus for the Matterhorn express. Would highly recommend.

Their spa and facilities is very good. Loved their outdoor hot pool, surrounded by snowy alpines. My room can partially see the Matterhorn. Downside is the walking distance from shops and station. But they do provide shuttleservice. Overall stay was pleasant and memorable.

I enjoyed a wonderful few days in the Alpen Resort Zermatt. It is a lovely hotel with great staff and amenities. The spa area is lovely and the bar area is great for a drink and a game of pool. The location is quiet with a 7 or 8 minute walk to the nearest lift but the bus stop is only 1 minute away. The train station is a 4 minute walk, the hotel offer pick up and drop off.

The staff here at the hotel is easily the absolute best, friendliest, most helpful staff I've ever come across. From calling numerous ski schools since we decided to book lessons last minute to getting us an upgrade they just went above and beyond for absolutely everything. Our room was a panoramic view room and we were lucky enough to wake up to the views of the Matterhorn every morning. Their spa was spectacular and there was no better way to unwind after long days of skiing. This was easily one of my best vacations and this hotel along with their stellar staff made this truly unforgettable. Thank you to the entire team once again and I just can't recommend this place enough!!
