Nice rooms, decor, and location. Our one large complaint is that we were told at check-in that both of our rooms included free breakfast each morning during our stay, so we changed our plans to take advantage of the free breakfast. At checkout, we were told that the breakfast was not included and very expensive especially for the quality of food. When we brought this concern up to the hotel staff, they shrugged and asked for full payment for breakfast for 2 rooms on 3 nights each.

We stayed here for 4 days before christmas and it was very festive. Great location, so close to town. Breakfast was delicious - cake at 8am? Yes please. Beds could be a bit comfier and the TVs in the rooms aren’t that accommodating to international guests. I have left the hotel feeling festive, yes, but also with a strong urge to call a chiropractor upon touching down in London.

The Hotel Wolf-Dietrich is an an excellent location with a lovely walk to most of Salzburgs attractions. There are lots of restaurants and facilities nearby. The staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was very nice. The rooms are basic (older and very basic furnishings - felt 3 star level) however they are comfortable. The spa downstairs was great! There are many rooms in the Residenz building which is in a separate building across the street (room type usually states this when booking) so you need to be aware of this if you’re wanting to be in the same building as the facilities. The car park is a 7 minute walk away but was easy. I read another guest review stating that the church bells were a problem however we did not find this at all. We had a great stay.

This boutique hotel gave us a great experience - we felt welcomed right away. Staff were very helpful and courteous. The location is perfect for exploring the town. The hotel gives a charming vibe and it transports you back in time with some of the touches, yet it has all the modern amenities one would want. Breakfast was good. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Salzburg.

Great location, we stayed for 3 nights and it was easily accessible to most things. However, it's overpriced. Our room was in a different building across the street which suddenly made it feel like an air bnb. Not close to the spa or amenities of the hotel. The experience changes when you have to walk across the street instead of get the lift to the spa. The rooms were outdated, and slightly uncomfortable. Not the 4.4 star hotel experience we had hoped for unfortunately.
