It’s great. But the windows don’t close properly and the bar out front is open until midnight. Drunk people singing in the street until 4am. First church bells at 545. Comfortable mattress doesn’t fix the fact that the place is extremely loud. Windows are classic old European double windows. If they were properly sealed the room would be quiet. But alas they aren’t.

As others described the situation already- extremely loud, which could be fixed with proper windows, etc. 1st church bell 5:30, then every 15 min. Some cars driving in front of the window and city cleaning service in the early hours (around 4:00) No way one can sleep properly. If I can't sleep well- it's always 1 star. Needed to correct service to 1 star as well after reply from hotel. Additional comments below: Since you have rooms on the other side of the hotel, maybe you should consider giving your guests more useful tips/options (if possible) to choose a "quiet" room. Wishing you a lot of satisfied and happy guests.

Clean hotel and great staff. Very helpful and nice. The location was terrific for getting everywhere in Salzburg. The rooms are clean and simple.

Well located hotel in the heart of the city. The rooms are very big with plenty of space but the shower/toilet could have been bigger. Service is great as the rooms are cleaned every day and fresh towels provided. Downside are that there are not safes provided in the rooms and a fridge would also be welcome. However, a great place to get your head down situated in a nice area of the city.
