Great location and very friendly staff! Our room was clean, cozy, and had a nice, modern design. The air conditioning and water machine in the lobby were really appreciated :)

Nice and welcoming staff of a small hotel in the heart of the City. We did not have the breakfast option but it seemed very well made in the morning. Water and coffee dispenser available in the breakfast area (coffee reserved for breakfast guests in the morning). The rooms are clean, well designed and modern, but very very tiny. The small double room has the bed only accessible from one side. We had some bizarre ventilation noise (like a tumbler next door) in our room during the night, but not too loud. Important aspect : no parking available, only two spots to unload, but they were blocked day delivery trucks when we arrived. Next public Parking costs between 20-30€ for a day (7€ night, 0.75 every other 15 minutes)

Location was perfect right in the center of town, the design was scandinavian and recently done and looked sophisticated, room was small, bed against the wall was challenging for a couple, we were given an accessible room - which we didn't need; breakfast was great, hotel staff were very nice, especially liked the help-yourself coffee and carbonated water machine. I would stay here again but be precise about which room to reserve.

The first red flag about this property was the fact that they had a note on the reception desk saying that they had to see an ID and credit card before check in due to several patrons not paying their bills. I thought this was so strange, not the fact that they needed to see ID and CC but the fact that patrons had left without paying their dues. Our room was very tiny, barely enough space to fit our 2 larger pieces of luggage and 2 small pieces of luggage. The worst thing was the thermostat for the entire hotel is set to heat and there is no way to control to temp control in your individual room. We spent a hot uncomfortable night in the room. The night staff brought a teeny tiny fan that was barely blowing air and the recommendation was to leave our window open. There was no way as two female travelers we were going to risk leaving the window open. We spoke to the morning staff who was very condescending and offered their measly free breakfast for our troubles. We managed to get in touch with the owner of the hotel too who was the least bit helpful. They kept arguing and defending their stance on the temp control. They had not mentioned anywhere on Booking.com or their website regarding this issue and we just felt like the whole situation was handled insensitively. This pretty much ruined our experience in Lyon.

The hotel rooms are not clean and the hygiene standards should be improved rather than refuting customer reviews. I am not the first customer to comment about the room hygiene of the hotel, so please read the reviews when you make your booking and you will know. Firstly, I want to clarify the confusion surrounding my room upgrades. During my initial stay in room 402, I booked a small double room, but I was not informed of any room upgrade. Consequently, I was placed in a small double room, contrary to any perceived change in room type. My second stay in room 507 raised issues with unclean sheets and a malfunctioning air conditioner. Despite my genuine request for a room change, I was initially informed that only a single room was available, and the staff displayed an uncooperative attitude. It was only after persistent insistence that the room change was eventually granted. This situation not only inconvenienced me but also portrayed an unfavorable image of the hotel's customer service. Additionally, I'd like to correct the timeline of events. The interval between my second check-in and the room change was not an hour, but rather half an hour. The need for a room change stemmed from cleanliness and air conditioning concerns, not any issues with the toilet, as suggested in your response. Furthermore, the claim that I prevented the cleaner from entering the bathroom is inaccurate and misleading. Lastly, the cleanliness of room 507 was subpar, particularly the sheets, which greatly impacted my overall experience. Regrettably, the hygiene issues in this room make it one of the worst I've encountered in my travels, deserving of a negative review.
