Travel Inn is located right opposite the bus station which is helpful for those travelling to Reykjavik without a vehicle. The room was great, had everything I needed for my trip. It was lovely and warm and the access was simple. There are a few sockets you can use for your own things. And the view was lovely as well.

The location was good as it was near the main bus station. Room was good sized and neat. There is no reception or welcome desk so it is difficult if you want to ask something or need something from the staff.

Were here for 2 nights and would actually rather not recommend it. Unfortunately, we did not feel comfortable at all. Positives: the location, the size of the room, smooth check-in. Negatives: the window was fogged up throughout, there were no electrical outlets, the bathroom is totally outdated, the mirror has black edges, we used the shower reluctantly, the lamp made almost no light at all

I have stayed here multiple times for work and for quick trips to the city (I live up north). The setup is simple but everything is kept very clean and the beds were comfortable. It has a shared kitchen area with a coffee machine and refrigerator. It has one of the best locations in proximity to the University of Iceland, the bus station, and walking to nearby restaurants and shopping. They are currently undergoing some renovations, so the second floor shared bathroom is out of order. We were on the second floor so we needed to use the bathrooms on the ground floor. The ground floor bathrooms are very clean and we did not have any issues during our stay. Our room had a desk and small sink in it which was convenient. We will stay again in the future.
