Such a cozy spot! Very clean, comfy beds. Host was very quick to respond to email. Loved the shared living space, fast wifi. Kitchen had everything we needed and more! A short walk down town, would definitely recommend.

We booked our last night on our trip with months of advance. One hour before we arrived we received a txt from the owners saying the place was overbooked and they moved us to a friend's guest house 400mts away. The new Guesthouse is way older with very poor reviews. When we got there there were no keys with names for us, we guessed which ones it belonged to us and the bathrooms and kitchen were in a poor state. I asked via txt the owners for the refund of the difference at least from one to the other as the new one was way cheaper and I'm still waiting. Very poor experience. Nothing compared to any other place we have stayed during our trip.

Very cosy place. They have warm rooms all the time. Big comfort kitchen and a lobby with a lovely cat. The location is perfect for short walks to the center. They have always warm coffee for the guests. The rooms are clean and the shared bathroom is clean with warm water all the time. I would definitely recommend it and i will come back to this next time.

Pros: Fantastic location in a cute and quiet part of Reykjavik. Large rooms with shared bathroom, fabulous water pressure in the shower. Cons: Super loud, absolutely 0 soundproofing. We woke up every time someone opened the door and the motion light went off between 10pm and 3am. The kitchen, while equipped with pans, cutlery, and plates, did not have cooking basics like oil or salt, so we had to go buy them. The bed was a mattress on the floor with no back support, difficult for someone with mobility issues to get up and down. We were initially placed in a room where someone had clearly been smoking that same day, but were changed to a different one.
