To start, the elevator smelled like a dumpster. It was disgusting. It is also not a hotel or anything like a hotel. It is simply a hostel. They said there was luggage storage, it was a space in a shared common living room in a corner, 100% not secure. They also don’t communicate well. Tried to check in early, and never heard back until 7pm that the room was available. Avoid at all costs. There are legitimate hotels priced the same in the area. AVOID!

The place is not the bad to be close to the center of Reykjavík, the rooms are ok, the kitchen is full equipped, there are plenty of toilets and bathrooms and they are across the corridor from the betrooms. BUT... on booking.com they advertise parking and that's just not true, if you rented a car you will need to find a close parking place or leave the car in the streets which I found very annoying, that being said the service is awful there is no in place service and if you try to contact them they don't speak English or any other language rather that islandic and will treat you bad.

Everything quite nice, the staff and reception operate very well, room, kitchen, shared bathroom is okay, everythings is good. They also have some thing in the kitchen for free to use. The sound from pipe can use something put things to shut it up or just use ear plugs that make it better to stay here. PS. Nearly cannot back in time because of my flight is 9.00 but the parking underground that staff recommend was closed between 22.00 - 7.00, have to find a lot of help to open it. If you got this situation the way down there cannot open by you, you have to wait for someone going in or going out from that building then keep that door open, pay the parkin then move your car to in front of way out then the garage door will open for you. Thank you for someone that try to help me that can make I can go back in time.
