Overall wasn't bad for the price. They dont have a 24 hour desk and their emergency numver doesnt work, so unless you want to spend 6 hours in the cold like i did then id reccomend showing up before 2300 even though the city gets arrivals every other hour. My bed didn't have a spot to put stuff up compared to every other bed within my room. Also the door broke and could barely open the last day. And they didn't supply paper towels one day so we used toilet paper. Bit other than that it was nice. Cleaner was very friendly and guests were respectful. Just bad maagement

We spent six nights at the hostel and we are very satisfied with the overall experience. The room are very nice and warm, the kitchen is big and fully furnished and there are two common areas to chill. The location is not super central but there is a but stop right outside the hostel that takes you downtown in 15 minutes. Also, there is a small market just few meters away that sells a bit of everything!

Decent dorm style rooms. Booked last minute and felt it was a good price. I felt safe leaving some things when I ventured out for the day. It was very odd that there is no hostel staff present and that everything is run through the cafe. Amenities include: Kitchen Showers (bring your own toiletries and towel or rent a towel) Wifi Lockers (must have your own lock or rent) Small common space Location is away from downtown Reykjavik area so it is quieter. Everything felt accessible though
