My stay at Urban Residences Rotterdam was truly delightful! The spaciousness of the apartment was impressive, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. I was also pleased to find the apartment exceptionally clean, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The attention to cleanliness and the ample space truly set this accommodation apart. Great location, beautiful view. There are enough dishes in the kitchen to prepare meals. If we come again, we will certainly be your guests.

Positives: for the price you get a LOT of space, it's centrally located and you have nice views due to floor to ceiling windows. Ideal if you need more room. Cons: There is no AC and you have to open the curtains to get light which brings in the hot sun. If you open the door to get air the mosquitos come in . May have to keep curtains closed to keep room cool - even though it's dark. They don't check you in until 3 - seems to be a strict policy. Staff could be more friendly. The sofa needs cleaning and is a bit mishapen. this place looks much better in the photos.

I had the worst experience ever when i booked at the urban residence and i would never recommend it to anyone i know. I was at Rotterdam for business and my family decided to join me there. So i searched for a room for them as there is no vacancy in the hotel i was staying in. A day before, I booked a studio at the urban residence for three nights and i paid in full for my booking. Since i was staying near the Urban residence, i passed by urban residence to check my family in before they arrive and make sure all is good. First, the reception: completely unwelcoming. Second, the safety deposit: I paid €431.79 for three days, yet at the reception they will ask you to pay €300 as a safety deposit :) due to how i was treated and the 300 nonsense, i told them you know what, cancel my booking. The said we cant cancel it + it’s non-refundable. If you want you cancel it yourself. Then i left knowing that i have no other options as all places around were fully booked. When my family arrived I took them straight to urban residence to check in and pay their deposit. Believe or not, the reception which i spoke to earlier cancelled my booking without even informing me, without even considering the consequences on my and my family!!! To cut the long story short, when i asked why you cancelled my booking, she told me that I didn’t show after i left and they wouldn’t hold the room when there people look for it so they rented it to someone else!!!!!!!!!! This was the most irresponsible, unprofessional, rude…. U name it… This reason would be acceptable if i didnt pay for the room!!! Not when i have paid for the entire period my family is staying in!!! Until now, i was not refunded, or even apologized to for this inconvenience!!!! I would like anyone that reads this to put himself in my shoes and tell me what would you do in such a situation? Btw, the receptionist who did this was a manager at urban residence :) I hope this review would help whoever reads it before booking at the urban residence.
